The IPU’s Parliaments for the Planet campaign aims to mobilize parliaments to act on the climate emergency. My contribution examined the steps taken by the Trinidad and Tobago parliament to tackle the climate crisis.
Contribution on the urgent need for parliamentarians to take action to mitigate the global environmental crisis at the Restoration Pavilion on Governance Day at the UNCCD COP16. I was part of the second cohort of the Global Changemaker Academy of Parliamentarians hashtag#GCAP, a five day leadership academy that brings together parliamentarians from around the world to address the pressing challenge of unsustainable land management.
Participated The Oval on Oversight's panel discussion with 16 influential persons looking in depth at the issue of Parliamentary Oversight. This discussion took place on Friday January 8, 2016 in the precincts of the Parliament of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
